Students
Tony's students have performed at venues such as Herbst Theater in San Francisco and Fox Theater in Oakland. His students have participated in various guitar festivals in the Bay Area and have received awards from the Walnut Creek and San Francisco Bay Guitar Festival and Competitions. Mr Kakamakov's Oakland School for the Arts Classical Guitar Ensemble holds the highest 'Superior' ratings from the South Bay Guitar Society for four years in a row, and have been granted the Tom Gardin Memorial Scholarship in 2016.
